Serves about 12 or just keep around for snacking on, topping a green salad, etc.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Egg White
  • 1 Tablespoon Water, cold
  • 1 pound Pecan Halves
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon

Process: Preheat oven to 250F. Whip egg white and sugar together until frothy. In a separate bowl mix dry ingredients together, reserving the nuts. Mix pecans in the egg mixture, then dry mix, laying them out on a greased baking sheet pan for 1 hour. Stir and check on nuts every 15 minutes. Eat within 7 days, do not freeze or refrigerate candied nuts.
